father seeks a cook for his kitchen, his daughter seeks to elope and a
pair of crooks seek to get some loot. Excellent print, 225' on a 400'

THE THROTTLE (2) - 1917 Mack Sennett Keystone comedy with Bobby
Vernon, Gloria Swanson and Wallace Berry.
Bobby Vernon (as Robert Knight) is a fickle-hearted youth. His
girlfriend Gloria Swanson (as Gloria Dawn) lives down the hall with
her dog Teddy (a Great Dane). Ms. Swanson's guardian is rascally
Wallace Berry (as Henry Black)he is also in charge of Mr. Vernon's
estate, which he is stealing from. In order to protect, and enhance,
his stolen wealth, Mr. Berry plots with buxom sister May Emory and
the two agree Ms. Emory will lure the unsuspecting Vernon into
marriage. The production is first rate, including a
beautifully photographed storm, and an exciting comic climax. Hang on
as Vernon and Teddy take a bicycle to rescue Swanson from an

Conklin. After Walrus has been
shot, Ambrose takes him into his house. When Ambrose
sees Walrus flirting with his wife he leaves. When
Walrus runs away with Mrs. Ambrose, Ambrose gets on a
horse to save her. The Keystone Kops are also after

- HAUNTED SPOOKS - 1920 Hal
Roach comedy starring Harold Lloyd. After numerous failed attempts to commit suicide, our
hero (Lloyd) runs into a lawyer who is looking for a stooge to stand in as a groom in
order to secure an inheritance for his client (Davis). The inheritance is a house, which
her scheming uncle "haunts" so that he can scare them off and claim the

(2) - 1924 Hal Roach comedy starring Will Rogers. He takes on Rudolph Valentino's
bull-fighting epic BLOOD AND SAND, Douglas Fairbanks' ROBIN HOOD, weepy melodramas, and
the Keystone comedies. Very funny. Mint in the OB. 400' - $29
- THE CAKE EATER - 1924 Hal Roach
comedy with Will Rogers. Will and his fellow hands
spend their time loafing and playing pranks on each other. The ranch has been inherited by
a pair of aging, unmarried ladies who take an instant shine to Will and compete with each
other in flirting with him, much to the amusement of the other ranch hands. 400', Mint in the OB - $29
