SUPER-8 SOUND PROJECTOR BELTS
I have refurbished Elmo and Sankyo projectors for more than 20 years and compiled these belt sets from O-rings I discovered work best from trial and error testing. Please note that I can not be responsible if you don't know how to install them. I mean to sell them only to people that know how to install them correctly.
I have belts only for the models listed below.

• ELMO ST-800 BELT SET - Includes two belts; the drive motor belt and the take-up belt. You may have to re-adjust the running speeds with the two adjustable potentiometers on the circuit boards after installing these belts - $25
• SANKYO 502, 702, 700, 800 & B&H DCT, DCM, DCR BELT SET - This is the take-up and drive belt set for ONLY the super-8 sound projector models shown. You may have to tweak the running speeds with the two adjustable potentiometers on the circuit boards after installing these belts - $25
• SANKYO 600 and MINOLTA 6000 BELT SET - This is the take-up and drive belt set for ONLY the Sankyo 600 and Minolta 6000 model super-8 sound projectors. You may have to tweak the running speeds with the two adjustable potentiometers on the circuit boards after installing these belts - $29

• HPI T16S 16mm SP SPLICING TAPE - 16mm sound (single perforated) "Quick Splice" splicing tape tabs. All fresh, archival quality tape will not age or yellow. No longer being made. Package of 50 Quick Splice 16mm SP tabs for making 25 splices - $7

• EUMIG CHEMO CEMENT SUPER-8 SPLICER (4) - For acetate base super-8 film only. Precise butt ended cement splices made much cheaper than tape splices. Cement not included. I don't know how well this will work without the Eumig special bonding agent, however Kodak Film cement seems to work well. Like New in the OB with instructions - $20 (special low price, not returnable)
• HPI 35MM FILM SPLICER - HPI heavy duty steel tape splicer comes with a large roll of HPI archival splicing tape. Like New in worn OB - $139
• HPI 8MM/SUPER-8 Quick SPLICE SPLICER - Plastic splicer for splicing both 8mm and super-8 film using Quick Splice tapes or Presstapes. New old store stock in OB - $49

• GUILLOTINE SUPER-8 FILM SPLICER - Makes splices from roll tape. Includes 1 roll of splicing tape, enough for 350 splices. Can also use Super-8 Presstapes. Excellent in the OB with instructions - $59
• CINEBUG 35MM FILM PERFORATION REPAIR SYSTEM - For perforation and cross frame tear repairs. Complete in the box with package of 6 double spools HPI T35CA sprocket repair tape and 3 archival TP35 perforated roll tape. New old store stock in the box with instructions - $299

• PERF-FIX T35CB or T35CA CLEAR PERFORATION REPAIR TAPE - For repairing sprocket hole perforations on 35mm film using the 35mm Perf-Fix or CineBug machines. One double roll on a core, about 60' in length - $20

• CRAIG MASTER SIX FILM SPLICER - For cement or tape splicing 8mm, super-8 or 16mm film. All steel construction. Like New condition in OB with instructions and a package of Kodak Presstapes in the format of your choice - $79

• KODAK 8MM/16MM EDITING OUTFIT - For editing, repairing and cleaning your film. High geared hand rewind set for 400' capacity 8mm or 16mm reels. Comes with a presstape splicer for 8mm and 16mm films (not super-8, however the Kodak Universal dual-8/16mm splicer would also snap in the center). Can also be used with super-8 reels if you have the correct type spindle adapter (not included). Comes with one 400' 8mm or 16mm reel and a package of splicing tape of your choice. Excellent+ in the OB - $169

• SEARS TOWER 8MM SOUND ADAPTOR - Sold by Sears in the early 1960's. Designed for playing or recording the magnetic soundtrack on regular 8mm films using your Sears, Bell and Howell, and many other brands 8mm silent projector. However it was mainly for recording and playing back magnetic striped 8mm home movies. Commercial sound films will play, but the sound/picture separation is way off standard so the sound would be ahead of the pricture by about three seconds. Like new condition in the worn OB with instruction book and schematic for the tube amplifier - $149

FILM CLEANING CLOTH

• FLANNEL SILICONE FILM POLISHING CLOTH (10"x10", Yellow)- Cloth made for cleaning guns is also ideal for polishing and lubricating your 8mm and 16mm films. Safe and ideal for use on magnetic sound tracks. A lubricated sound track will cause less wear on the sound head. Combination of silicone, lubricants and corrosion inhibitors acts like a magnet to dust and leaves a lasting, lustrous finish on the film. If a film cleaner is used, allow it to completely evaporate before polishing with the cloth. 100 square inches - $6

All films, especially new condition or green prints, need to be lubricated for optimum performance. You can use a product called GOO GONE that is available at Wal-Mart or your grocery store to clean your films using a 100% soft cotton cloth such as an old t-shirt. GOO GONE will clean the film but it does not lubricate it, so after the film cleaner has completely evaporated, it would also be a good idea to polish and lubricate the film with one of the silicone treated cloths listed above.
